They cant kill off Shepard! Didnt they say somewhere that you were gonna be able to cross over characters in the second one? Like be able to use you character from ME 1 on ME 2.

Could be a trick by the geth to lower morale. Commander Shepard wasn't the only N7.

Name me one other person who had N7 armour.

Anywho, I believe they said you could transfer your character to Mass Effect 2, and the choice you made during the first one effects the course of the second.

So I'm 50/50 he could be dead, he could be alive.

We'll have to wait and see.

They said you could transfer your save files. This would mean that the choices you made in the first game will effect you in the 2nd... but does not mean shephard is alive.

As I said, you don't have to be shephard to be affected by the existence of the Rachni.

(or non-existence in my case. damn things don't belong)

I didn't like the idea at first, but I'm starting to fall in love with the concept of seeing commander shephard fall tragically to the geth, and having the geth-shephard confront you in a final boss fight...

I think he's still alive though.

That would be interesting.....but it would be rather similar to the ending of the first one, when Saren's implants ressurrect as a cyborg corpse.

I like the persuade option to appear in that battle. I found it funny that I could convice Saren to commit suicide.

Captain Anderson was an N7, though he didn't wear the armor.

Doubt it was Anderson, as they recently said he was still kicking and in the sequel.

well another concept could be either your decisions decided in the first decicded if shepard died or not and that also decides if you make a new character or not.
