Lets say in Mass Effect you were shot in the face by a sniper shot and blown by a grenade. You don't die then this doesn't really happen.
Someone gets killed in a cutscene, that shit happens.
I understand, I'm just trying to make the point that commander Shephard could definitely be killed by the Geth.

Re: Mass Effect 2
Indeed.
Though turn into a Geth?
They completely machine. They have no organic components.
Husks are cybernetic, as you can still see the organic parts, as well as the machinical.
Saren was odd though.....

I think the idea was that a Geth took over his armour.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I'd like too see a few more Reapers.
Sovereign had such great dialogue.
'Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind. Fumbling in ignorance. Incapabale of understanding.'
'Organic life is nothing but a genetic mutation. An accident. Your lives are measured in years and decades. You wither and die. We are eternal, the pinnacle of evolution and existance. Before us, you are nothing.'
'Your words are as empty as your future. I am the Vanguard of your destruction. This exchange is over'
Epic.

I always thought that was funny.
The badguys monologues actually seemed necessary, and they took control.

I just respect the English language... not webster's grammatical errors.
I do love the Sovereign conversation as well, but the way that he completely disregardes your question of ethics with all that "There is no way you could comprehend" bulshit is a little annoying.

Deal with it. Sovereign was epic.
Citadel morale must be low with Shepard dying.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I like to throw this into the discussion
http://masseffect.bioware.com/teaser/index.html
It seems that was from Cerberus.
So they could easily be wrong, they are a bunch of rogue alliance spec-ops and they do have a grudge against Shepard.
Also new trailer tomorrow!

Re: Mass Effect 2
Since it seems to be from Cerberus, it could be one of their files. The Alliance never really did much to Cerberus, so maybe they have power still, and they broadcasted that to lower morale.

Re: Mass Effect 2
I don't think your actions against them destroyed them, it simply wounded them.
That's probably why the known alien assocaites was there, as I always thought Cerberus was one of the many anti-alien human groups.
