I don't know he was able to fire his pistol that fast though, or how the sword activated when he picked it up.
But weren't the Spartans awesome?
Nevermind that, I dont see how he managed to hold the Arbiter's sword arm down long enough to get THAT many rounds into him.
(Yes I finally got the game yesterday and now Im happy
Oh yeah, on that mission where your on top of the SoF and have to destroy all the flood forms, anyone have any tips for that? I beat it but barely and I lost quite a bit of my air locks in the process. So is there any good strategy for it?

Build hornets and Turrets. It helps keep them alive.Ascendant Justice wrote:Vigil wrote:I think it's because he caught him off guard and off balance.

Also try to use the healing power on the airlocks.
Again I think it was surprise and momentum.

Re: Halo Wars, again
Lol, did you install it to your HD?
I had a failing disc problem with far cry 2 some time ago, and after I got it on the HD it just needs to detect the CD in order to play.

Re: Halo Wars, again
So overall, is Halo Wars a Starship Troopers or is it an Indiana Jones IV?

Starship Troopers was "fun", but it was very stupid. Bad dialogue, bad costume design, bat acting, and it didn't stay true to the book. But the fight scenes were "KEWL!"
Indiana Jones IV is WORSE. Nobody's hearts were in it, they completely ruined the franchise beyond all hope of recovery, and individual members of the audience lost a normalized average of 12 IQ points watching it.

I think it's a combination of both...
Starship Johns IV
EDIT:My meaning is, the game is "fun" but it lacks the depth and story the other halo games and books offered us. and it also bum fucked the canon

No. I was going to but, appaantly by the time I got around to it, the disc was too badly damaged to work.
As for Halo Wars, I'd say it was similar to Starship Troopers.

Starship Troopers indeed.
Also, with too badly damaged, do you mean that when trying to install to the HD it like stops at 20 percent insallation? Or it just doesn't read it at all?
Cause in the first case, you just gotta keep trying. My copy of far cry 2 always was getting stuck around 20 percent, but I kept trying and after like, 30 attempts, it finally installed...(note the disc alone would get stuck in the loading screens of the game, before i had it installed).

I've had about 4-5 attempts, some on another 360, and it always stops at 10%.
I was planing on:
A. Renting a Copy and use that to install it.
B. Wait for th game to get cheaper and buy a new copy and install that.
C. Kill Mircosoft, Ensemble and Robot Entertainment.
At the moment I'm focusing on Plan A. But C is still being considered...........

Your question didn't make any sense to me.
I wasn't sure what you were getting at, so I didn't say anything.

Dud Doodoo wrote:Are the flood actually like zombies? Or do they just play as another faction?
I would say that they are....kinda like another faction that you cant play as but at the same time they act like zombies meaning they rush you and attack blindly while being rather frail. They have their own buildings, defenses, and counters like the bomber form, thrasher forms, and those damn swarm things. They dont really use any tactics besides storming you with troops and of course, trying to infect you. Their units are rather weak though so that helps when you have a couple dozen swarms at your base.
Uniqueness: Flood environment buildings are dangerous and usually contain infection forms. These include flood stalks which act like 3 carrier forms exploding when you shoot them, flood sacks, these are more common but they act like obstacles some times so it may be in your best interest to kill them. Also their buildings will regenerate over time unless you have some units to "supervise" them.
Flood spore clouds. I hate these things. They are basically a dark cloud of...spores that fly around a certain area for a small amount of time and can infect any infantry units that they catch.
Did that answer anything?
EDIT: Or was that even the right question?
