No they are not, I have it on disk. I think what you mean is that if you have the game registered on Steam, you can download it as many times as you want.

Yeah then uh, how did it break?

By 'they' I meant my broken games he was referring to in another thread as well as this. Bough em all from Steam. And it's the save that's broken. I've tried it across a few computers too. Every time the Huron confederacy declare war on me or me on them - crashage at a random year. I tried being allies for a while... but they look such an easy target with such desirable land...

I just used some Game Stop gift cards I had from my birthday, had enough to buy the Collectors Edition.

Or, as i currently only use video games to fill time, as opposed to actively engage in, I'd just keep playing my older games.

That's fine. Try that for a while then. I'd say a year - but sixth months if you're not feeling up to it.

Then start a new campaign, have you tried it on the latest patch?

Better yet, i'll give you from mid September to mid February with ~10 days even using forms of technology.

So you're saying that it'd be hard and stupid?

Well that happens to be my point. Before you said youd just go back to playing your old games, wheras now I'm almost 100% you'd buy something else to tide you over. And the difference between the two propositions, is that my one is what most people (including most on the forum) are doing anyway.

Oh sorry, I thought you were challenging me to the tech thing - which to be fair I need for work and university. But yeah, go for it. Hope you do well!

As for the second part, I'd say respect. Plus you're making it sound like you don't use games at all when you're actually just not paying for them...

and on top of that, IF i had the money to spend on games, I'd spend it on EVE, not buying games.
