I seems all the COD games have infinitely respawning enemies.

I found COD 4 tough n Veteran.

Vigil, they are taking that out of Modern Warfare 2.

Meaning more stealthy players can now do the campaign their way.

Ha, I really doubt it.

I'm sure there will be at least one bit where you'll have to reach an objective, and you have push slowly upwards as the enmies continually respawn.

nope, IW actually stated implicitly that infinite enemies are being completely removed. Except maybe in the battlemaps things....the equivalent of mercenaries in RE5

Cheese wrote:I didn't mean one that said speed up - I like those. Adds tension. I meant the ones that say STOP HERE AND SHOOT ENDLESSLY RESPAWNING ENEMIES FOR A WHILE AND IF YOU DIE DO IT AGAIN FOR FIVE MORE MINUTES.

They're ok in theory - especially with user saves. I liken it to watching the same unskippable cutscene over and over before a difficult boss. You die, you just get more and more pissed off so it gets harder. Usually you could just get more desperate and make a mad shooting dash at the next checkpoint... but noooo...

Same reason I'm stuck on the stupid fish boss of GoW2 (that and I dont own that game any more). Easy in theory, you get to the third and final 'damage' bit - and you get nicked by the teeth. Boom dead. Screw you, player: here's a cutscene. In CoD? Boom. Here's four grenades at once and a dog. Oh? You got them all? Well now we made you run out of cover. Dead. Screw you, player. Here's what you've been doing for the last 40 mins again.

I have spent more time under that feckin feris wheel (well actually behind the bumber cars) than anywhere else.

Did I mention I didn't like that bit?

Remember the long, boring elevator rides in Halo 2 that were spectacularly easy until a shotgunner or swordie appeared once in a while and shot you in the back? Or you just got really bored and jumped off the side? The reason I think a bunch of people hate playing as the arbiter?

Solution to all your problems: Suck less.

They're trying an evil tactic over here.

They're going to increase the price here to experiment to see if people would still pay for it.

The sad thing is, it will work.

I say FUCK THEM!

You can't boycott something when it's almost the same price in dollars as pounds. We're supposed to be doing that! Razz

But anyway... more reason to hate Modern Warfare 2 (I didn't mean it modern warfare 2, it's just activision is an ass) Dual Wielding!!

I can see the pros and cons of this - but to me it just really isn't CoD's style at all. I'm a sad Panda.

Yet another reason to NOT buy the game. Dual wielding destroyed Halo it will destroy CoD.

I am going to wait to see how they do this before I rant.

It will be limited to pistols, or very small sub machine guns I hope. There will defiantely be limitation, this doesn't mean its dead, it means you're overreacting.

You're not allowed to wait for more information before raging on the internet. It's against the rules.

And yeah, it is apparently limited to pistols. Not even sure you can with SMGs.

It will most likely be a perk they would not just allow you to dual wield without a down side to it.
