I haven't played a second online with WaW, because I know stopping power is still present.

In the video, there was some perks in the top righthand corner.

Im afraid you won't be playing it then

EDIT: Some form of zombies I think will be in the game, as there is a teddybear in the video, that is an exact copy of the one in the verruckt map (no umlaut..)

Although, knowing activision it would probably be xbox live/system link only...

WaW has splitscreen Co-Op.

Rumor has it that they're naming it, simply, Modern Warfare 2, and dropping the "Call of Duty"

I checked that trailer.

I does show that they still have stopping power.

So I won't be playing this online if I do get it.

So they're basically recycling the same five ideas.

And who said creativity was dead?

Just because it's a video game, doesn't mean they have to foresake the story.

Look at Bioshock, Silent Hill, KOTOR 1+2, Halo, Fallout 3, Half-life 2, etc

They all have very strong narratives that drive the game on.

Not everything has to be a mindless shooting fest.

And yes, you're right. I'd like a story too.

I liked the last game's story (modern warfare)... and so did you!! ^^^ Razz

It had everything... The horrors of nuclear war. Chernobyl assassinations. Mass-Murder-Mystery. To paraphrase Yahtzee, 'The American's waltzing in guns blazing and mucking everything up JUST LIKE REAL LIFE. While the SAS go in behind the scenes to fix everything but with such moral travesty that something something JUST LIKE REAL LIFE!!'

So yeah... I liked it. Even the end.

They need more games like CS where the campaign isn't so restricted by the storyline and canon.
It is just a multiplayer experience but without having to play online.
