Not everything has to be a mindless shooting fest.

True, but in each game, the storylines don't carry on usually. Chances are, you won't be "Soap" in Modern Warfare 2..

Besides, not all games have to have developed campagins or stories, I like a mindless shooting fest once in a while

Why did you hate WAW?
I got to kill Japs!

Hmm...
No story, no replay value...
The only good thing I have to say about it was that it reunited me with WWII weapons, which hasn't happened since a CoD3 demo.

And if I have it my way, "DMITRI! FIRE THE PANZERSCHREK!" is going down in history, alongside "So I haer u liek mudkipz" and "All you bases belonging to us!"

6. That's not mentioning the tanks

Oh, man, the tanks were one of the worst aspects in WaW. They were not a challenge to face if you followed the 'idiot route', they drove around and did nothing unless they were STANDING STILL, and they weren't all that fun to drive.

Vigil wrote:7. Nazi Zombies is overrated.

Exactly... Nazi Zombies are the exclusive turf of ID software. Anybody who says differently deserves to be locked in a room with a starving Loper.

... Ok, so maybe there was only ONE Nazi that was turned into a zombie, but the mixture of Nazis and the undead, combined with 1940's steampunk and mysticism...

+ Mass Effect!!!
And yes, you're right. I'd like a story too.

... I did not hear a StarCraft in there... or Homeworld... I am so disappointed.

I liked them both, although WaW much, much less than CoD4.

I don't really have high-hopes for MW2, as they just poop these games out..
As long as it is a mindless killingfest, im cool with it.

I hate how game creates are legaly make a game and not follow up with any DLC, there should be a law. CoD4 and WaW had One Map pack each! That is pathetic.
They should stop what they are doing, and make a few good games not a shit load of crap ones.
Why do they not speed time balancing it, adding new maps/gametypes, ETC.
Halo 3 was one of the most hyped games ever and over like 2+ years they have had only 3 real updates. What is it with Xbox and DLC?! They just don't mix for some reason.

Oh the wonderful story.

For most of the game your trying to stop a Middle-easten country firing a nuke (Not Iraq at all).

YOU FAIL misberabley.

You then hunt him down and guess what, it's the Russians who are the real threat!

How many times have I seen that one before.

I will give credit to the way some parts of the story were portrayed, Espically when you were in the perspective of the president of the Middle Country, and you see it all falling apart, and then you watch his execution through his eyes. That was very well done and engrossing

The persepective of the dying solider after the bomb goes off was also a powerful story part, as you control his last dying moments as he crawls out of the helicopter, and you see the mushroom cloud as you collapse and die.

The Flashback in 'All Ghilled Up' and 'The Shot' was good.

The rest is no where near as good. I didn't care for any of the American Forces, Espically Briggs, who I find to be a huge stereotype. (By the way that rap at the end is god awful).

As for the SAS, I'd like to point something. WE ARE NOT ALL GEEZERS! WE DON'T ALL SOUND LIKE JASON STATHAM! I know because they are percived as hard, they could be seen in the SAS, but not all of them sound like that, and they sure as hell don't have that kind of ridiculious facial hair.

To be fair, it's not the worst story I've played through, but on the othe hand it's hardly Bioshock.
