I've been wanting to say something about this to you for a while, but I keep forgetting. You always talked about how the original Half Life felt like quake, in that it didn't feel like you were hitting anything, and shooting in the head VS the body didn't seem to make a difference.

Well, I've discovered that the original Half-life used to QUAKE physics engine. I played Half-Life source, which is the exact same game with the source physics engine. Might wanna check that out...

I actually said DOOM, but I suppose it makes no diff Razz

I'll have to look that up then. Sounds good.

I tried playing the co-op Half Life (the one with he two women) and we got to about level three before discovering it was ROCK HARD! And there were no checkpoints or way of saving until the end of the level... Curse you PS1!

^^^ I thought you called it quake syndrome...

Yeah, the PC version of Half-life has no checkpoints/autosaves either, but you can manual save whenever you want.

no, That' black mesa source, and that's not out yet.

Half-life source is just the same old game... nothing different accept the physics engine. It's made by Valve.
