I don't mean the same thing like other games where you just shoot people and they get harder as you go.
Assassins Creed you go to one city and blackmail, pickpocket, and kill till you get to the leader, then you kill him.
Next city: Do the EXACT same thing
City after that: DO IT AGAIN
After that one: AGAIN
Guess what your doing in the next one? Thats right, same thing
Agreed

Re: Assasins Creed 2
Has NOBODY bought this?
Anyway, I did and I think it's awesomesauce. I've been playing for the last three or so days whenever I got a chance and there's no end in sight (in a good way). None of the missions have been so far repetitive and I'm loving the new kit.
The RPG element I find to be a little lacking because it's easy to unlock everything by just improving your villa early, and you'll most likely get the best armour before too many others. But it is a nice touch and it seems appropriate for the game.
In terms of combat and movement not much is new apart from the weapons.
Side missions are fun (especially the assassination ones) and numerous. The assassin ones aren't repetitive but there's not much more you can do with 'race' and 'beat up husband'. They are relatively poorly paid though, especially during the later stages where money becomes pretty worthless anyway.
Cutscenes still seem unskippable... they're good but this will grow to annoy me in later playthroughs I can tell. They aren't those long back and forth conversations though, so they'll be more bearable.
That's basically it. So if you liked the last game's idea but found it lacking in the mission department, this game's for you. Basically all of the problems of the first have been fixed. Kudos Ubisoft!
EDIT: Looking at the above comment. It's fixed!

Re: Assasins Creed 2
I'm probably going to get it for christmas.
The first one was okay, but it had a few several really annoying elements that brought it down in my eyes (I WILL KILL YOU YOU DAMN LEPER! I WILL STAB YOU IN THE BRAIN!)
This looks a lot better, but I heard the money system can make things a little too easy near the end of the game.
Oh and What about Health? Is it handled the same way? As it didn't seem to recharge like it did in the first one.
