I want one... On an AK-74... Or on one of these.

Not really genius... just basically just took a small chainsaw and strapped it to the bottom of a gun.

Bayonets basically became null with the end of trench warfare in WWI's Closing days.
Although bayonets are handed out, they are rarely, if ever, used.
The decreasing weapon length and ability to attach things like small shotguns under the rifle's barrel have almost made Bayonets comletely obsolete
