Swine Flu

Just saw this on BBC news. Apparently a delirious patient bit his nurse on the hand when she was trying to put in an IV. The patient then went on to bite an orderly who were trying to stop him getting out of bed.

Now the bitten people have it too, and the original guy has been put in hospital quarantine after being deemed a threat to the health of others around him. Didn't say names or locations.

It was on tv. I only use the bbc website for iplayer.

If they were smart then they would have burned the patient, burned anyone he infected and forget about the whole thing.

but yes i call major BS. and besides swine flu is not transmitted through biting people. the virus was probably on the people who were bittens arms and somehow they managed to get it to a bleeding cut, eyes, nose or mouth.

Lol, you do realise it didn't say it was transferred through biting people. It was probably like you said, or maybe just open wound + hospital = bad.

Although I'm guessing they probably cleaned up the wounds. Hell... it didn't even say there were any open wounds. Maybe they just caught it the good old fashioned way.

It's just fucking Flu. It will make you ill and feel like shit, but I seriously doubt it will kill you.

Becuase thats how the media gets more viewers!, if you are scared you will want information and where is the easiest and work free way to get information the news!.

I did the right approach and asked my doctor about it and he said its no deal its only a bit worse because people aren't as resistant to swine flu as say human flu but the worst if could do if your healthy is make you feel horrible.

Face it the Media are just a bunch of corrupt douche bags that only care about ratings not the facts. If you want real information go to an unbiased source or your local doctor.

The deaths in Mexico are due to their inadequate health system.

Also, the one death in the United States was a baby in Texas who was visiting from Mexico.

Think about this guys, there are almost 7 billion people in the world.
Less than three hundred have been infected world-wide.

And most of the early U.S. cases are now recovering or recovered.

Yeah but you remember the terror that was bird flue?

People had to bash open eachother's heads and eat the sweet nourishing goo inside for sustenance!!!
