The Special Forces are a group with a long standing history of excellence and hard training, and the Spetznaz were supposed to be an SAS clone.
The Spetznaz were also less trained than the SpecOps, because the Russians only have a two year service requrement, and so they just picked anyone with higher than average physical scores.

They're really not all they're cracked up to be.

Yes actually.

The IRA went and put pistols behind the kneecaps of thousands(or maybe it was hundreds) of drug dealers, and shot their knees out.

They pretty well destroyed the Irish drug trade, and made the good part of Ireland pretty much a "no no zone" for drug lords.

Jolly good lads those ones are.
