Radio Chatter

This is not a game per-say, but a continuing storyline
Each person takes the persona of a person present during an epic-space battle (This should be fun for all you writers out there, myself included)
We take turns writing out the next part of the story, I.E. I write about a corporal heading to a pelican for evac, then the next person writes from the perspective of a private running the corridors of a ship about to explode.
You can basically write about anything, as long as it relates to the battle, this is where I got the title.

Rules:
1:One person at a time!
Only one person at a time is on base for writing, we will have a cycle, "On-base" should write their part while the current writer is working on their own.
2: No pointless, mindless bantering in this thread
3: Do not under any circumstances decide a 'winner' in the battle.
As far as it is concerned, this battle has infinite ships and infinite soldiers
4: Stay in the Halo universe please
5: Have fun with it. Space is infinite, why should you imagination not be?

Alright, you're up first (Since you volunteered on PM, as a note to anyone who thinks I just picked you by random XD)

Captain Jerome looked onward at the system, the Beta-Gemini system to be exact. They had just dropped out of slip space a few seconds ago. The where following a lead that hinted covenant activity in the area, he wasn't sure if it was true but that is what he was to find out.
"Sir! Our preliminary scans of the system show that we have 3 covenant flagships that just dropped into the system on the far side of a planet." The female radar specialist said.

The captain turned swiftly towards her."Damn, well we got our answer. What planet did they drop out near?"

"Feros-B Sir, should we call for reinforcements?"

"No not now, we have to focus on the situation at hand." The captain turned around and slowly walked toward the view screen "Prep all long sword fighters and pelicans for battle, things are about to get ugly, soon. Set coordinates for Feros-B and move to opposite side of the planet, we have to set the table for our guests." A Small grin formed on the captains face, this was going to be fun he thought.

Corporal Samuel Verington prepared his longsword, the captain had just sent orders to prep for flight he thought. This was going to be his first battle against the covenant, this was going to be one hell of a fight. He climbed out of the long swords cockpit and left it running, he walked toward the mini armory that they had set-up, he grabbed a SMG and a pistol, he wouldn't need much. He was after going to be in his long sword most of the time, he hoped. The speakers turned on "All long sword launch in 30 seconds, I repeat launch in 30 seconds." Samuel chuckled to himself, time to rock he thought.


Well thats my first part in this game, it was kinda short, feel free to continue off of this little story, since i kinda set the entire place of battle
