I only play with Wiimote+nunchuk and I know a few others that do. Its far more conveniant and all the important buttons are given more attention than on the gamecubes cluttered controller.

Yes, but when more people use the gamecube controller than the Wii controller, maybe somethings wrong with the controls...

Well, SSB was orginal already... Making a "clone" as you say wouldn't be orginal at all

and halowars is fun and im not the only one who thinks so
it is fun like beating your head against the wall is fun. You enjoy it at first, but it later becomes a pain and you wonder why you were even doing it in the first place

will you all quit saying the same thing and quit being stupid
will you quit saying the same thing? Honestly, you're the one who keeps spitting out the same thing over and over again.

[b]It's what we call a "sellout". Meaning, they don't whether it fits or goes well with what the fanbase wanted or not, they do it to get a quick buck. The only reason Halo Wars sold so well was because of it's name. If you want more companies to put "halo" in there name, they I have the right to call you a "sellout"

I guess I'm not a "newer" gamer then

I loved SSB when I've played it "not very often" not for the characters, but for the game style

and blood, while vital in real life, isn't quite so important in games, and I wish that developers would go away from the "realism" of brown and grey (even the fucking sky seems to be grey half the time, or else has been toned down)

as for the actual topic:
I'd play an SSB clone if it was on Xbox because I love that controller so much. It's definitely my favorite.

Interesting. I dont really think SSB would work as well (as a gamecube one) on an xbox.

I think that's because the control scheme was set up specifically for smash though tbf. All the nair fair dair stuff.

I don't know what kind of gamer I am.

I don't NEED Gore, Blood, and Boobs in my games. I need story and lack of Nintendo cartooniness.

I also hate fighting games like SSB and Tekkan, and racing games in general. So pointless.

All Nintendo games are over. They gave up on making actually good game ages ago.
The only reason they still sell is because they have millions of people that will buy anything they buy.
Look at galaxy, it was total shit compared to their old stuff, and there old stuff was just meh to begin with. But people still bought it.
So based on that theory, they will sell millions if they make a remake on game even if they are just secretly scamming people out of their moneyz.

I simply said the newer gamers, who are relatively new to gaming in general like games with gore, blood, and boobs, not needed them.

I actually had a confersation with a person who said he doesn't like to read because shooting stuff is more fun.

Nintendo cartooniness is what nintendo does. They were and are a company for kids(not so much recently though).

I'm not so much of a fighting fan either, but SSB was an enjoyable game for the short time it lasted.

Well back in the days graphical limitations only allowed cartooniness. It's just that they've lasted so long is the reason why they haven't changed.

People do that not because the wiimote+nunchuk is bad but because they're just more familiar with the gamecube controller from their time with Melee.

eh, the Wii isn't in competition with the 360 and the ps3.

Though it is in competition with Natal and XBL......
