Just get the M17x alienware laptop

It is rated as the best one, and one of the cheapest gaming laptops. Its the laptop i'm gonna get.

"Gaming" + "Laptop" = Strange concept; why not just get a small gaing computer?

We have no space in our house for another desktop and I also travel a lot. I'm also usually in contact with annoying people jabbering to me while I'm trying to play so if that's the case then I'll just pick it up and move to a different spot in the house.

And Gauz, I know its one of the best ones on the market however I disagree about it being the cheapest. In Canada (for me) I have to pay $2199 (+more for any upgrades) for it while its about $1799 in the U.S.

EDIT: Just found this one on futureshop:

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10126072&catid=25316&logon=&langid=EN&dm=DEBUG

It looks better and its cheaper. Which one would be best?

Hmm... thats a bugger; the problem with laptops is you'll pay for a good one and it'll never manage the next wave of games...

To be honest justice, I'd get a cheaper one and play old games; they're are frickin' loads of really decent ones Very Happy

But I already have Starcraft...

I also found another one that seems better and cheaper that I gave a link to in one of the above posts.

I don't know if that one is better, just look up some proffesional reviews for it and compare what hardware it has compared to other gaming laptops.

Try a place called Smooth Creations, gaming computers and awesome paint jobs. Plus they are very customisable. I mean Core i7 975 with a GTX 280 customisable

Hmm anyone have Dawn of War 2? If so how would the alienware laptop fare for running it? Its specs are on the front page.

I could upgrade the machine if necessary.
