Dude, this is like, the third time you've asked that. Let me tell about this amazing new vessel through which you can acquire information.

It is called google. You simply type into the search bar, and tap the enter key on your keyboard.

Upon doing so, a list of results, in order of their relevancy, is laid out on the screen.

you should try it out sometime

No, it's not like the pirate bay. It is a LEGAL digital distribution platform that also operates as an infrastructure for online gaming. It provides features like 'Friends' Lists,' instant messaging, and voice chat.

So that you might more easily understand it, it can be called 'The xboxlive of PC gaming,' with the added factor of allowing you to buy and download full priced games, and being all around better and made by the greatest game company ever.

guys, if you provide a link, PLEASE remove the /home part of the link?

the /home makes it ask for login first, just get rid of it and the links work jsut fine

Other than achievements... I can't really think of anything.

Xfire didn't invent the concept of an ingame-overlay.

Steam is better because:

A: Better online functionality (server based)
B: Mod Support
C: Made by Valve
D: Full game downloads with great weekend sales
E: Had the ability to do multi-voice chat long before Xboxlive
F: Decent text chat (MSN sucks)
G: Steam Cloud that saves your settings to your profile
H: Doesn't cost 50 dollars a year
I: Group features (basically like a clan) and the ability to schedule group events
J: No Disc Check
K: Much better community
L: Better profile Page
M:More Stat Tracking
N: In-game Browser
O: Ability to change your name FOR FREE

The weekend sales KICK ASS. I got The Orange Box for 10 USD or like 15 AUD. The overlay is pretty sweet.

Can we get this stickied?
