It's sorta one-foot in my own universe, and one foot out.

My actual comic (star wars was just a sample) is about a war between the Zoran and the Locusts.

The characters are all mine, the only thing that isn't is the Locusts.

I could find a new enemy that isn't the Locusts, but they'll be hard to replace.

call them lizard men with slightly smellier insides then locust im sure that isnt copyrighted yet!!

I have both Gears games.... you torment me to think I could draw a bunch of Locust dudes.... gah!!

Well actually, what I'm hoping to do is create a whole new race for the Zoran to fight, mostly so the work is publishable.

I probably won't publish it, but still, it'd be nice to make something original.

I've been thinking of something, somewhat similar to the Locusts at first, but now they're very different in most aspects.

I'll post more details on the race later.

Okay, so I've been thinking, and I'm not going to use the locusts.

I don't have a name thought up yet for them, but the species the Zoran will be fighting will be very brutish, have hard, rock-like skin, and use missile crude ballistics.

What I'd like you to do Etsharrin (actually, from now on I'm calling you Hops) is just draw up a little concept art for the Zoran and the other species.
Bacially, just draw them as you'd picture them, and I'll tell you what I think.

Aside from a few guidelines, you have complete creative freedom on how you draw them.
I don't care about time, just take as long as you want.

Here are the guidelines:

-The Zoran use a very unique type of weaponry. They use small, compacted cells of "cold" plasma that when ignited, become hot and quickly expand and fire out in a straight line. So basically, whenever a Zoran gun is fired, just make sure the shots are elongated, and stretching from the gun to the target. Think Star Trek phasers.
-All Zoran rifles are bullpup design, meaning that they load from behind the trigger.
-For the first few comic strips, both sides should be wearing some kind of snow gear.
-One last thing, the Zoran are very human-like, but the race they're fighting shoud not be human-like, other than their basic shape and being bipedal.

That's all for now, I can tell you more after you post some concept art.
Now don't think of these as rules, just guidelines that give you somewhat of an idea of what to do or not do with your designs.
So, just be creative and have fun with it.

The primary Zoran rifle should be slightly bulkier than this in the front.

Wahoo! Took me about two hours... man I really don't like comics much. I just don't have the patience! Anyway, it was fun trying to come up with a pair of critters without hardly any real description for either of them...

And don't panic. I'm going to post images of them each nekkid, too, so you'll understand more about the differences between them and the alienness of them as versus each other as well as versus us human meat popsicles.
