Lottery winner loses...

i just read this article on AOL... its sad.

I've known for a while that after winning the lottery, someone's life will often go downhill. Everyone you know wants a slice, and you are suddenly in a trap. If you don't give it to them, you are an asshole. If you give them it, then they will ask for more, than more, and they are expecting it and take you for granted, you are used for your money.

people seam to forget you can tell them to screw off. sometimes a bad family opinion is better than living in a slum.

I watched a whole documentary about this, called the curse of the lotto. Pretty sad, although, the pattern seems to be...

-Guy who had the ticket= Suicide
-His kids=OD
-Wife=Divorce

Its sad no matter how the lotto winner is so pure before they win, they are either corrupted or the people around them corrupt. They make the winners life hell by asking for money and when the winner gives they come back for more. If I were to win the lottery I would try extremely hard to keep it to my self/ my inner family. As long as I don buy a new house or something really fancy im fine. A couple gadgets here and there, pay for college then im good.

damn , some people just don't know how to spend money.

I think I would just live a normal life, happy in security.
