That's what most of said about a game called halo wars, I think most of us have learned from that mistake.

YOU guys hate Halo Wars and took it way out of proprotion. I don't hate it.

And I'm sure I won't hate this one. And others sure won't think of it as the scourge of the world either.

Another great video game series down the drain....

And Rock, Halo Wars was NOT taken out of proportion. Its a generic game with a half assed effort put into it and worst of all, its a bad Halo game. Also people are not going to "get over it". The reason people are pissed is that they hate seeing a series that they grew up loving, get turned into a giant shit fest with laser light shows and mechs with a 100 guns that is purely made to attract the attention of the ever growing population of under age gamers.

This is not C&C. This is not anything.

Not really. But I don't see a point to argue. No matter what I'll say, you'll just continue to say "SC 2 is the best blah blah blah" "all other RTS can't even be called RTSs when compared to SC and blah blah blah..."

So, I'll just save myself the headache and the annoyance and just play Red Alert 3.

Exactly.
While you can get away with button mashing and 'A-clicking' units over there, SC actually requires skill.

Dune II, AoE II and CoH are widely regarded, even by diehard SC fans, as great RTSs.

Never played the Dune RTSs, but the rest of those are awesome.

Age of Empires is my favorite RTS series, no doubt. Until I play SCII I guess...
