Re: Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
Oh god....did I just see a Victory Point gametype? Yeah for a game like C&C4 that WILL NOT WORK. I can see some people guarding one point with 30 giant walkers, another point with 80+ super turrets, and another point with some kind of OP'd tank.
It worked ok in DoW2 because of limited units and smaller scale fights but it WILL fail in Command and Conquer.

Scrin Tripods stood the best chance at killing them. Nod avatars fail.

It bothers me that they have the technology to create a realistic, good, half decent game, but then they resort to crap.

There's a reason the EA execs in charge of the Westwood dissolution are near the top of my list of people to kill when I snap and become a serial killer.

Eh I don't like PC games, maybe it's because my computer can barely run halo:CE, I'd rather have a console RTS with a little more difficult controls and a pop limit then having to upgrade my computer for every new game that comes out.ReconToaster wrote:Gauz wrote:Well, the only RTS i've played on the console was HW....
You see how that worked out, I guess i'll save some money for this, as it actually sounds good. Wait, HW sounded good, oh me...
That's why you get it on.... PC!!!!

One word:
StarCraft.
Get that, and you'll never need another RTS again.
Well, maybe with the sole exception of CoH...

Or DoW:DC. Those are the only three you need.

Eh. I still loved EaW and it's expansion and I am still waiting for( hopefully) a clone wars one.

No. Of course not. That was the best voted name when they held the "name the game contest" through their forums. I'm not sure what the other names where though.
And it's "Tiberian" Twilight.

I was just making joke.
No, but seriously, those fans are pretty unimaginative, which is why fans should stick to PLAYING, while devs stick to DEVELOPING.
