The characters look weird, and please tell me the plot of the story before I see it. That trailer made it look absurd, imo.

Well, the story is all too familiar...

A scientist builds some machines to help humanity recover from a previous war. These machines rebell and start mass producing other machines to wipe out humanity. So the same scientist makes sapient rag dolls. The dolls live a post-apocalyptic life and try to find each other so they may deal with the machines.

Got that off of wikipedia. So that's the story, not very original but hey, I am seeing it because the visuals look pretty awesome. Who knows maybe it will surprise us. Oh fact too, this movie is based off the short movie of the same name by some animator. So not sure how old the original short is. But w/e, just let everybody know.
