How? A survival gametype is to see how long you can survive, which means you always die. Dying=lose.

*eyes narrow* We can do this aaallll night bitch just accept that you can "win" in a survival game and it will all be over. Survival games usually do have a limit to them, and if you survive until the limit, or a certain wave, you WIN. If you have a team of competent friends then victory can be at whatever you want it to be. Set a goal. I/we will complete *insert wave# here* or achieve *insert score here*. Achieving the goal results in victory.
Or if there is no limit and say you reach a score of 56700 before dying, then restart and achieve a score of 89300 before dying then you beat your previous record. To beat something usually means to "win". Therefore you won the game and beat your previous score, now the bar has been set a little higher.
The cycle will continue until all the little 12 year olds on the leaderboards look upon your score with glittering eyes in aw and amazement at your awesomeness. Even then a person will (probably) beat you, then you go back and get a higher score then them, thus achieving victory over them....otherwise known as winning.

This will continue until the world ends.

Please tell me that you are not serious!?
ODST will not even be half of as great as MW2.
You can not even compare the two games, it is like comparing Mario and TF2, Mario is just shit, TF2 destroys Mario. Just like how MW2 will destroys ODST.
ODST will have a boring multiplayer, that will be as interesting as Nazi Zombies, or Horde. And all campaigns can only be played through twice at most. Were as MW2 will have a campaign that is just as great, plus an actually good Multiplayer.
I probably will not buy ODST if it is same price as normal games.

So its in the hands of the people that created an awesome IP and slowly degraded over time with nonsensical plot items and holes?
thats SOOO much better.

Mario is better than you'll ever be!
OSDT = Halo 3 multiplayer. Just now you have a new gametype.
Honestly, I wasn't a fan of the old mordern warfare multiplayer, so I doubt I'll like this one.
Is it possible that there can be two good games coming out? Or must we continuely fight over which one is "best"

We must fight. Both games are about war, and you want us to be peaceful. Irony.

Not be peaceful, just on a middle ground. Can't both war games be good? Or must one war be better than the other?
