Not to mention that the only reason Russia had the T-34 was because Hitler insisted that, as an act of good faith, during their little alliance, Russian engineers be provided with all of the schematics for German tanks and all the materials used to make them. I've noticed that, often, when Russia hits a technological barrier, some other country is like "derderder, let me help you there."

The T-34 raped anything the Germans had until they developed the Konigstiger Panzerkampfwagen.

Yeah, the Jerries may have had the most advanced flight tech in the world, but it didn't help us. We simply didn't have any fuel to run them.

Of course, the Germans HAD to show the Soviets what they were doing with the tanks. The Versailles treaty said that Germany couldn't have any tanks in Germany. Well, it said nothing about tanks in Russia, so that's where they decided to develop them.

In any case, the Russians didn't get the machine tools to make the T-34 turrets when Hitler ordered everybody to start showing the Soviets tank crap. When they did do that, the soviet representatives kept complaining that the Germans weren't showing them their heaviest tank designs, when they were. It wasn't until later...

German #1: Thank Gott they're gone. Always whining and complaining over nothing, trying to cause trouble. I can't wait to wipe their smiles off this summer.

The Tiger was a bit late on the scene, but even the regular Tiger could easily incapacitate eight T-34s before the others could get away.

I wouldnt call 1942 late Rot...the Konigstiger however, THAT was late.

I think that hitler's germany had a better air force better armored division and all it lacked was more men.
