but yeah, that reminds me of how an 'installed to hard drive' game can't be played on another xbox, despite the fact you have the disc with you.

i have update and i played offline and the DLC worked

From my experience, few DLC and games work without XBL.

My full Doom game is just hte trial version without; Oblivion DLC simply disappears.

I know therea re a few games that do work though, like Heavy Weapon.

I'm thinking about getting the stormtrooper...fine, clone armour (I hate the prequels). Although I want ODST or Master Chief armour too.
