ODST has a campaign which will last for hours, with plenty of replayability, a Survival mode which is potentially indefinite, the complete Halo 3 multiplayer experience, including three new maps which won't be available on Marketplace - ever. It also grants access to the Halo: Reach beta.

All for just £30. Not bad at all.

I sense Halo Wars in this- Map packs for Halo 3 being sold on another game. All it is for is multiplayer. The campaign won't live up to what they promised (stealth), and you will all be dissappointed in Firefight because it is overhyped. The only thing I would buy it for is the campaign, and only because I love the Mombasa levels in Halo 2, and a shiney-er version would be nice to play in.

If you ask me, the campaign alone is worth £30, people had no qualms about doing this with Assassins Creed and Mass Effect, and they costed more. It's just because it's a Halo game, people expect a full matchmaking system.

But to me, everything else we get is just a nice little bonus.

Your talking about Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed, then follow up with something about full matchmaking, and little extras. No idea what you said.

Halo actually already has a decent amount of stealth in it. I'm sure they just added a bit on to what they already had. If they do what they had in Halo 3 but add more cover to sneak around with and that cool outline feature, I'll be happy.

Do I cancel my Halo ODST pre-order in case I find out that I need to upgrade my machine? (I need all the money I can get right now)
Or do I keep the pre-order and hope to god that I don't need to upgrade it?

Thank you for your time.

thats because the storyline and gameplay for both of those games were better than halo and going to be so much better than ODST

What's he going to do? He said he had two options, get ODST or laptop upgrades. Upgrades=better computer, but no game to play on it. ODST=fun.

I will be buying a game with my laptop. Probably Dawn of War 2 or Doom 3 since they are fairly cheap where I am.

By the way, Starcraft 2 will be deciding what upgrades I get (if any).

Why do you need to pre-order it?

PS: How much money did you spend on the pre-order?

Did you see assassins creed in that list? That game is horrible, crappy story and mediocre game play to boot.

If you'd buy a new game for your laptop... upgrade your laptop and buy ODST. You can get new games for your laptop later.
