Best Gun (Assault Rifle's)

This thread is to discuss the best gun, in your opinion. The current class of gun we are discussing, is Assault Rifles.


To be an Assault Rifle:
  • It must be an individual weapon with provision to fire from the shoulder (i.e. a buttstock);
  • It must be capable of selective fire;
  • It must have an intermediate-power cartridge: more power than a pistol but less than a standard rifle or battle rifle;
  • Its ammunition must be supplied from a detachable box magazine.

I have a love for both the AR-15 and all of its offspring as well as the AK-47

Right now, I am going to say the AK-47 is, but i'm going to do a bit more research.

Scratch that, I am going to say that my faveorite gun by far is the G36c is.

Gold, that isn't an assault rifle. If it has a retractable stock, it isn't an assault rifle.

M16 is a good rifle. Quick firing, semi-large magazine and nice accuracy.

I would have to go with the XM-8 Carbine. It is lightweight, powerful, accurate, and American.
