Rob Thomas

Post by CivBase on Fri Aug 21, 2009 2:46 am

I've posted this before, but with much fewer songs.

Rob Thomas used to be the lead singer in Matchbox 20, but went on to pursue a career by himself. Frankly, I think he's the most talented artist out there. I love a lot of different types of music and there are a lot of bands that I like a few songs from, but I love every song from this guy. Anyways, here are the songs from two of his albums as well as some popular ones from when he was still with Matchbox 20.

Cradlesong - June 30, 2009
Listen - Her Diamonds
Listen - Gasoline
Listen - Give Me the Meltdown
Listen - Someday
Listen - Mockingbird
Listen - Real World '09
Listen - Fire on the Mountain
Listen - Hard on You
Listen - Still Aint Over You
Listen - Natural
Listen - Snowblind
Listen - Wonderful
Listen - Cradlesong
Listen - Getting Late

Something to Be - April 19, 2005
Listen - This is How a Heart Breaks
Listen - Lonely No More
Listen - Ever the Same
Listen - I am an Illusion
Listen - When the Heartache Ends
Listen - Something to Be
Listen - All That I Am
Listen - Problem Girl
Listen - Fallin' to Pieces
Listen - My My My
Listen - Streetcorner Symphony
Listen - Now Comes the Night

Some Matchbox 20 Songs
Listen - Push
Listen - Bright Lights
Listen - How Far We've Come
Listen - Unwell

Unfortunately for you, I think he's pretty rubbish. Left Matchbox 20 to become an even more mainstream artist. I don't appreciate that, or his music.

I don't care if he is mainstream or not. I love his music, so go suck on lead and die. Nobody loves you. You were adopted. Your mom was a whore.

You suck.

I don't particularly like his singing style, but I enjoy some of his stuff, and I think he is genuinely talented. He and matchbox twenty are more capable of performing live than most.

He did kind of go back to matchbox twenty though didn't he? There's this...

Really? Well, the Cradlesong album is new, so I doubt they're officially together. Seems like he might still be doing some stuff with Matchbox 20, though.
