but currently its either our government can take control in 'emergency' situations, or the telecom companies get overwhelming control for personal profit.

out of those two, i prefer the government because the government can never get anything done right. but neither is good.

The drinking age is 18 like... everywhere. The drinking age used to be 18 in the US. At some point somebody decided that being an adult should no longer mean 'being an adult', and that you should be allowed to join the military and kill people before you should be allowed to have a beer.
