I think you should go see Death Race: 2000 - the original. Best part is the remake completely missed the point. Go Frankinstein!
As for 300, it's a great film to watch in a small testosterone reeking dark room with about four other guys and shouting. Or if you're gay. Both are fine. An entertaining film, I wouldn't really start to call it good.
I don't remember any acrobatics though... Maybe you were thinking of when they got blown up by gunpowder.
