No it doesn't, it recharges much quicker.

On easy when it's drained it will begin recharging almost immediately; however, the total charge time is much longer.

Legenday takes ages to begin charging and zips up really fast once it starts.

I'll go check later.

only because you had a heck of a lot less shields to recharge.

I think it took the same amount of time for the recharge process to begin though. Ill go into the game files and check later.

well the big difference between halo pc and halo CE when it comes to the aimbot is the fact that Halo Pioneered console FPS, and it was expected that most gamers would have issue tracking targets on the new medium so its bumped up like hell.

Except I didn't notice it until I played Halo 2 for the Xbox.

In any case, I believe they improved the vehicle control in Halo 2 Vista, over Halo PC. At the loss of actually being able to kill stuff with the Warthog.

KristallNacht wrote:nope.

anyway, i've been playing some Halo: CE lately, and the Halo Series' gameplay has changed a lot.

I started playing it the same way i play halo 3 Legendary and i die like everytime, and i'm only playing on normal!!!

you just can't take as much damage at all, so the whole 'charge in, kill everything, let smoke settle' concept of the last game never really works, or works once and you leave the area with 1/4th health.

Actually, in my opinion, Halo 2 and Halo 3 pioneered the "Run out and shoot as long as your shields last" gameplay. Halo PC got you to conserve your health and pace yourself. Of course, your shields lasted longer...

Cheese wrote:I think Halo 2 was by far the hardest. The flood on that second to last level are just spectacularly difficult. Halo: CE had a knack to it. If you were good with plasma nades the campaign became a hell of a lot easier. 2 never had that option.

*How the Plasma Grenades worked in Halo CE:

You see a Combat Form rushing you from across the map.
You throw the plasma grenade at your feet and start to backpedal.
You go to the fridge to prepare yourself a BLT and a glass of Mountain Dew.
You walk outside to get the newspaper.
You walk back to your computer to check the local news on-line.
You turn Halo back on just in time to see the grenade go off.

Or you hit the thing in the chest with the Plasma grenade. A lot easier in Halo CE than Halo 2, since you could actually THROW FARTHER!

The plasma grenade was better in Halo CE.

It took 4 full seconds to blow up, which meant that the person who had been stuck could then run after the thrower in an attempt to blow himself up with him.

Today, the number eleven is very important. No, not because of some silly terrorist attacks! ODST DROPS IN ELEVEN DAYS!

I really favored vehicle control and physics and control in the first Halo. The second and third ones just seemed a lot less realistic with the little ol' banshee flip.
