Perhaps it's because anybody who is actually INFORMED about the event realizes that it was necessary, it saved lives, it ended the war, and it prevented World War Three.

As opposed to the simple-minded bleeding heart liberals, who can't get the number "140,000" out of their heads.

Hell, the Japanese raped and killed twice that number in six weeks. Go look up the Rape of Nanking.
