U.S?

I googled, but no luck.

Anyway, i noticed on the world colour coded map, U.S.A is green, Canada is Red, but then there is another country called U.S in green aswell....

Whats that?

Alaska and Hawaii a both US states a that are not connected to the mainland USA. They still maintain the same amount of power as any other state, however. In fact, our other potential Vice President for the 2008 election, Sarah Palin, was governor of Alaska.

Puerto Rico, just southeast of Cuba, is also American territory. However, Puerto Rico has not decided to become an actual state and thus has no say in our government and does not have to pay taxes. It does, however, receive military aid from the US.
