MTW II

Post by Gauz on Fri Sep 25, 2009 8:05 pm

Medieval Total War II

Thats the game, its an RTS. There are few factions you start with in the beggining of the game, so I just decided to hax my way through it by changing files to give myself the factions. Well, I changed the names and everything correctly, but when I went to save over the original file, it says that the new file can't be created for some odd reason.

... not that great with computers, so can anyone tell me what to do next?

Could you give the specific error?

And M2TW is amazing, although not as good as Rome.

M2TW was better than Rome.

Shut up, i'm not discussing that.

Anyways, the admin thing WAS a problem (probably still it) but I got over that. I am the Administrator but it still tells me I need Administrator acess.

Buuuuuut...

Thats not my problem..

I beg to differ. Rome had better music, bigger battles, more refined and less buggy gameplay, better mods, ect. Rome's campaign was way more exciting than Medieval 2s, and the time period cannot be beat.

I never had a problem with Medieval, it never crashed and it only lagged when I put the graphics on super high. I never played Rome that much, so I cannot compare campaigns. I dislike the fact that you start out with multiple factions covering your back, and I was never attacked by sea so only as the Julii was I ever in any real danger.

Also, mods are not the game so do not argue using that as a point.
