Reasoning? none

ok moving on

Okay then, I'll do it.

ODST uses the same engine, and much of the same materials as Halo 3. It is essentially a short campaign with a nice new multiplayer mode. Other than that, it is the same old Halo 3 multiplayer in a new box. The package is worth the price to someone who does not already own Halo 3, but being that almost nobody who Microsoft intended to be buying the game fits that description... it's over-priced.

Agreed, although the campaign wasn't short, it was around the same length of Halo 3's.

actualy the ODST campaign was hours shorter than Halo 3s, dude.

2 person co op through both on legendary had a 4 hour difference for me.

and i even played ODST with a lesser skilled second player than I did Halo 3

Took me a day to beat Halo 3, three to beat ODST. Yah, I didn't have a job when I got Halo 3, so I had more time to play it, but I felt the ODST campaign still took much longer.

I found the ODST campaign to be much longer if you played it as a game and didn't just run through it on easy to see the cutscenes. That just ruins the game IMO, but it's what a lot of people on here did.

If you're going to critique it as a game, play it as a game.

I beat it on Heroic, it took me a little less than H3's Normal Campaign.

And did you just run through it as fast as you could? I found myself spending hours between levels in the city, just exploring and having a blast. Eventually I'd come across what I was looking for, but it certainly made the game more enjoyable.

No, I was jumping to the objective. But sometimes, I'd just take a step back, and assassinate a patrol or two Razz

They should have just put the game as 39.99, and make the new multiplayer maps separate DLC.

I beat it in about 6 hours, on Heroic, and I did wander about a bit.

Completed it in Legendary co-op right after that in about another 4.

Halo 3 took me a bit longer to finish.
