Its hard to explain how amazingly retarded yet fun this game is/was

I have it... didn't really enjoy it that much. The vehicles got annoyingly difficult, and it had a really loose storyline.

The multiplayer is also somewhat impossible, as each base has a giant gun tower that has a near instant-kill weapon. Even the strongest vehicles cannot get more than a few feet into the base before blowing up. How do you destroy a base if you can't get into it? The only way you can to destroy the towers is to turn them off... which means you have to get into the power station... which is guarded by the tower.

you must fail at the game then. I found it easy to do everything that you said is hard.

it was ok but in my opinion tiberian sun is the best all time C&C game (dune and tiberian sun draw when it comes to best westwood game)

I have it and I found all of it to be really easy to do if you know what your doing. Story line was shabby I agree

I just think it is sad that Renegade failed so hard, like WestWood expected (and had told EA), and then EA liquidated WestWood as if it was their fault that the game failed.

No. Dead Space was created by Visceral Games. EA doesn't make games. They stamp their names on games that developers they've bought out make, and then they fire all of the employees of said developers and ruin their franchise trying to make the games themselves.

Dice still manages some pretty good Battlefield games *cough*2142*cough*.
Though, they are forced to pump them out at random, using the enslaved copy pasta E.A. method....

Oh, and let's not forget Activision after MechWarrior 2: PS1 came out....

Well, I wasn't playing on easy and it was a while ago, so I'd probably be better at it now.
