I wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact how people advertise it everywhere that all Xbox customers will able to use things like Netflix and stuff, and then it is only for America...

Although we might get some sort of update, I read on Xbox.com that they were going to extend the range of the Movie/Netflix thing to NZ, Australia, Netherlands, and some other random countries. But it can't be Netflix as you need to be a Netflix user to actually use the Xbox live Netflix feature, and NZ doesn't even have Netflix.
We have access to Blockbusters, Civic Videos, Video Easy, Fatso and some more, so they could be doing a deal with them, unless MS scraped the whole idea, which wouldn't surprise me.

I probably wouldn't use twitter or facebook as I don't even use them now, but it is just the principle that I am paying the same as you guys and I don't get equally functions, I am pretty much paying for the updates that I don't get, and the deals that are not relevant to me.

Microsoft can't do anything about the licensing dude.

Netflix is limited to USA (and canada?) because its an US company and US TV and movie companies are batshit crazy so they don't let netflix do the isntant access license for outsdie the US.

Same with HULU.

It's really not Microsoft's problem. They're doing their best, like they got SkyTV on the 360 in the UK.

But the problem is, well everyone (Not just MS) say "All Xbox 360 users will be able to use Netflix after this fall" when they should say "all American Xbox 360 users will be able to use netflix after this fall" Which is really misleading.

And not charge 360 users the same amount if they are just going to totally ignore us. I expect some attention from MS if we pay the same, they could at least get one guy to monitor Xbox live for NZ. On the Xbox.com website it was it is still May, that ODST is coming soon, and Halo Wars was recently released.

yeah, because XBL now costs more with the new stuff than it did before right? You're not content with paying the same amount for XBL people were paying for it in 2002?

Wow, i thought Australia was unlucky but it must suck to be a xbox owner in NZ. We atleast get out site updated often enough
