You know Death, Dead Space isn't the first thing to do these things. In fact Dead Space is probably one of the biggest example's of having multiple influences and elements from other media's of the genre.

So, what I'm trying to say is, there is probably a lot more movies/games/books/media's etc that are influences to this kind of thing rather then simply just Dead Space.

Yeah but what I'm trying to say is that Halo, Dead Space etc were not the first ones to do those things. He may be influenced by those specific ones but those games took infuences from many things and put them together which, to there benefit, made them that more uniqe. But still reconizing where those influences came from.

So basically, He may say for himself that Dead Space, Halo etc infuenced his writing but theres a lot more to thank for that then just those titles.
