Still a very long time, long enough for them to come out with Guitar Hero 6 (We'll milk this franchise until it dies)

I don't see why they need to make a new guitar hero... what do they actually change in thoose games when they release them?

Little tweeks to the menus and track lists. That's about it.

Just release a blank slate version of it and make it purely DLC based, so you only download the songs you want.

That's just my take on it.

Seems like a fucking waste to go and buy the new version of the game when you can do the same shit but by downloading the songs. I don't know.... I don't think it's activisions problem though. If you really decide to buy the new guitar hero then its your fault for even wanting to buy it really. You should be smart enough to put two and two together and be able to say "DLC maybe?"

If you can put a giant sticker on the lost and the damned saying it was DLC, I think you could do that.

Well it's plain and simple really. They make a new game simply because They can make more money off of it.

I'm not deffending them for doing that, I agree with you guys, I would much rather have it be DLC then an entire new game. Which is why I like Rock Band. Sure they made a new one but it still has loads of DLC songs.

Now if you don't mind. There's some lovely thanksgiving food that's got my name on it.

This Year alone saw Guitar Hero: World Tour, Guitar Hero 5, Guitar Hero Metallica, DJ Hero and Band Hero.

That's just obscene.

Activision doesn't even need all that money, they could live off of the money Blizzard makes through WoW, and both companies could survive.

That would make them sound less greedy though.

At least DJ hero is different.

And then all the DLC that the let out after the release.
So that if you have the old game you don't get any, like all the EAsport games.
