Who said anything thing about guns? I mean you could easily remove guns with proper screening and control of the docks.

While it would a massive engineering and finnacial strain, if nessecity needed a solution to rising sea levels, I'd say it's an option.

Or we could take the 2012 solution

I don't see a lot of these alledged problems actually forming. Basic safty concerns, such as the possibility of leaks and contaminationon of potable water, are basic engineering features which would neccesarily be corrected in the blueprints. Also, we don't seem to be talking about gangsters, but rather conquest-minded revolutionaries.

If rising sea levels actually WERE a big problem (they are not) then we could just build an offshore platform instead of engineering an UNDERWATER CITY. Do you have any idea of exactly how massive of a project that would be? It is not a logical solution to any of the problems out there, it just sounds cool.

Well Half of the U.K will probably go, but there will still be a lot of landmass, which I will agree to.

I know at the moment it would be virtually impossible, but it think it might work, even though I think other solutions would work better.

why not just colonized another planet? By the time you got a functional underwater city large enough to house a decent sized population, you could already have multiple space colonies. OR even better, find a way to fix the environment and stop rising sea levels. Both of those options require less manpower and are less expensive.

There are too many problems with building an underwater city, and not nearly enough incentives. There is no reason to do it right now or in the near future.

It's a big dumb action movie, but IT'S A GOOD ONE.

Roland Emmerich is a master at these kind of movies, unlike the pretenious upstart known as MICHEAL FUCKING BAY.

If you went to see Revenge of the Fallen go see this, and learn how these kind are movies are done right.

I don't know. The trailer ruined the movie for me. "The Mayans predicted the world would end. We should have listened." Listened to what!? They just said it would end! They didn't say how, or how we could stop it!!!
