Again, does not explain a practical purpose to produce a kinesis module that was specific enough to choke someone. The only one I could think of would be as a alternative to a prosthetic arm, as you could use it to do all the basic things with it.

Other than that it's mad science for the sake of having mad science. Hence why I brought up the Mirror Universe, as a lot of technology, such as the agony booth was designed specifically to control and incite fear into people by the threat of excrutiating pain. Sure I get that Unitologists are Literally screaming that there evil with indoctrination torture chambers, but it still seems a little odd to me they would equip their assassins with repurposed mining/engineering equipment.

oracles:
the two white coated men are oracles. the oracles were first mentioned in salvage. the are described as elite operatives of unknown origin (although now after hearing them call the necros servents in severed im pretty sure they are working with the church). they all have a special ring which allows them to kill people at will as seen in severed and salvage.

This quote is from aegis7, a forum I'm on, it explains the oracles a bit more but I guess to get a better understanding of them I would have to read salvage. Seems that their advanced kinesis module is actually a ring, not sure if it's as powerful as it's described but it sure can kill.

Seems that two DLC maps will come out for free on may 31st for XBL. The maps are Concourse and the Academy.

I am aware that the games have been out for quite a while but im cheap as fuck so I didn't play them yet.

Just bought both Dead Space 1 and 2 together for a grand total of 13.59.

I would marry Steam if I could.
