Social experiment.*
And so, we've known each other for two or three years, right?
Wrong.
We've been talking to each other for two or three years, but I'm curious as to how well we really know each other.
So here's what we're doing. We're going to name off what we'd give to other people on this forum for Christmas, if we had the money and didn't have to send it through the mail. And the rules are...
>No games. Seriously, we've got a game section, so it's kinda easy to guess what other people want when it comes to that.
>Don't cop out with "I'm getting Rot an island in the Philippines, and Recontoaster a trip to the ISS". Yeah, I'm sure ANYBODY would like those things, but that's not what I'm going for here.

And so, here I go.
KrAzY:
A digital picture frame because, while he has a Wacom tablet and everything, he needs something to display the many pictures he's drawn over the years.
Recontoaster:
The DVD version of Cosmos
Yeah, I guess I am taking the easy way out here... Which is why I'd also end up getting him Marrow, by Robert Reed. It's an interesting book that tackles massive engineering (You think the Ark is big? YOU THINK?) with the implications of Einstein's Relativity when it comes to space travel, as well as what happens to humanity should we become immortal.
Not a perfect book, but a good one.

I'd probably get Rot an M1 Carbine so he can start his murder spree quickly, or fight off the zombie invaders.
Rasq', you would get a surgery kit, because you seem to want to dissect a few specimens.
I would get Lord Pheonix an italian switchblade because a hammer is overused.
I'd get BBJynne & RX XBL so they can play (I hope that's not under the game section).
Vigil would get a video camera so he can save time making rants.
Sargent Bilco would get a box of shit, because I don't like him.
I'm not sure what I would get KrAzY. I think a 3D scanner would be of some use to him.

I'd probably work my magic, pull some strings, and get Rasq a job in the aircraft industry, probably at BOEING (though he might have to settle for MD Helicopters).
And I'd probably get KrAzY an extra large wacom (screen would be 18"x12").
And I'd get dud some books on artificial intelligence and the composition of the human brain.
But I doubt I know anyone else well enough to get them anything other than a generic gift.
