Post by HB on Wed Dec 30, 2009 8:20 pm

ok

here's my problem

i have Command and Conquer: The First Decade, and i just today find the "Unnoficial Maps" tab in the General's Zero Hour Skirmish section

i do some research and find out there is something called a "World Editor"

but here's the problem

i read somewhere that it comes with Generals Zero Hour, but i cant find it

what do i have to do to get it?

Don't you think that this, I don't know, belongs in the game section?

It came with it.

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer The First Decade\Command & Conquer(tm) Generals Zero Hour\WorldBuilder.exe

I hate world builder so much, though. Final Alert was so much more effective. I've never been a fan of non-grid RTS, though.

If you go to the Zero Hour directory (folder), it is right there (probably at the bottom).

It's probably in a program files folder, named after EA.

It is generally assumed that General Discussion is a catch-all for things that don't fit in other areas. As this fits in another area, it would be more appropriately placed there.

The world builder for that game was confusing as hell. All i figured out how to do was place battleships and aircraft carriers on the land

It was annoying. I took time to master Final Alert 2, but I wasn't about to waste my time learning World Builder. I worked with it a bit... got a simple map out... but I gave up on it after that. I play more RA2 than Generals anyways.
