Here's one I made for laughs in a class where I was the only white guy in the whole room.

Suppose to be about ourselves

I'm from the area that's not that good
but not so bad that you would call it "the hood"

Where the white people don't feel secure any more
as they roll up the window and whisper "lock the door"

I'm from the apartment complexes three stories up

I'm from the neighborhood that has it's own public dump

I'm from the place that's not so diverse,
where the women take extra care to hold onto their purse

I'm from the streets that dogs run wild,
where you don't have to be the fastest: just faster than the other child

I'm from the school not ranked as "top",
a campus where its common to hear "look out, here comes the cops"

But now i'm in a place where the white kids play in the sun,
But I gotta tell ya: its just not quite as fun.

metioning shoes i got some offical jekin shoes on the internet the other day man there red and my friend got some blues and we walk down the hall like we the shit. man lol i love shoes . if you step on our shoes we will seriously cry or bust you in your face!!

Its actually really good... there are like one or two parts where the word choice could be different to make it flow better, but otherwise it beats the shit out of those pussy poems they make you read in gradeschool

yeah, it gives you soemthing to look back on so you know what to keep in mind next time you write one, too

The second one was kinda funny...
But where I come from, white kids playing out in the sun means shooting things with rifles and shotguns, partying, making rockets and ramming them into things, explosions, etc.

I know that it was a joke too, lol
