So this is it, my 17th birthday. It feels no different really, but feels kinda cool. Sad I don't have a car though

I sympathize with you, Felix, having owned and maintained a car since I was sixteen....
But here's some advice from someone whose been there. Seventeen doesn't feel different from sixteen, eighteen doesn't feel different from seventeen, and Twenty-One probably won't feel different from twenty.
It's what you do that makes it special, so go out and have fun.
And when you're eighteen, go buy yourself a pack of cigarettes. Same principle as buying a bottle of beer on your twenty-first.

Oh, I plan to go have fun. I don't plan on buying cigarettes or beer though. That stuff just doesn't do it for me.

beh... 17 is insignificant.... as is 19, and 20
and then every one after 21 until 40 and 50
then they are all insignificant until 70
and then 100
and after 100 every one becomes significant again
good job on making it a year closer to your demise
