Its on the internet, the idea of why it is in such a large plane is so it can house all of the chemicals for it to work, whereas an ac130 is too small.

Im talking about the one they are using in the fusion project, its newer than the one they were using for the MTHEL ground and air based systems. Besides, last I checked the plane-mounted laser project was halted.


Its technically not one laser, what I am speaking of. Its 192 in combination in a house-sized sphere. They delivered roughly 680 KJ when they fired over a ten-billionth of a second period. Thats about 3.5 KJ per laser over that time interval. That's incredibly powerfull.

Gotta love the results of all the money we put into the military.
