I played with one today, and realised that it was probably the greatest source of happiness I have ever experienced. Seriously, it was so cool. So I bought one on Ebay when I got home, and it'll be coming soon. Sooooooo cooooool.

I've seen one of these things displayed at my local Music Super Store. Me and some friends spent like 2 hours just making songs on this thing and bugging the shit out of the customers and the employees.

Looks fun, but I don't think i'll be getting one soon.

Yeah, it only really fascinates me so much because it can be used to create a lot of the music that I enjoy listening to which is pretty heavily reliant on synths. It's like a metalhead buying his favourite BC Rich guitar.

Anyway RL I bought it for $180 including $30 of posting. You can't really buy them in Australia due to Korg preventing the sale of them outside of the US by genuine dealers. So that's why you won't find them in any major stores in Australia, and the only place I know of that sells them is obscurely located in a laneway near my school in this strip of yuppy shops which sells them for hyperinflated prices due to shipping costs. So $180 is pretty good, considering my mate paid $300 for his a couple of weeks ago.
