I'm still pissed Valve hasn't released any TF2 updates for the Orange Box. C'mon, give the console players some love!

Only way they could do that without it costing them tons of money would be to charge for the updates, since Microsoft owns the distribution network and only the first update on live is free, the company has to pay for any more updates they want to release. Since Valve owns steam, the can release updates whenever they want and they don't have to pay a premium to a distributor.

Name it DLC and release it for 800 MS points (which i beleive they are doing anyway), but for christ's sake do something! I'm tired of hearing about all this awesome new stuff the classes have but not be able to use it.

Edit: Release the update for free but the DLC is required to use the content, means if you don't buy you can't use the guns but other people can.

You realize they update TF2 like, twice a month, right? You want to pay $10 twice a month for updates? I think not.

I realised TF2 wasn't worth playing on the Orange box pretty soon after I got it, because of the amount of cheap glitches people used and the lack of updates.

TNine, if Left for dead 2, has taught us anything, it's that Valve is no longer in the buisness of making stellar games, they are now in the buisness of making vast quantities of money, so I think you should be more expectant of a TF3 rather then a TF2.1, as was the case with L4D1 (they promised free DLC, map packs new weapons, etc... did not deliver)

there is a new update for tf2 like every week

sure they are making money but its their jobs and seriously valve CARE about its gamers because they know its good business
