Medal of Honor (2010 reboot)
HEHEHEHEHEHE
Apparantly it's so like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare it's more of a Call of Duty sequel to it than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Oh EA, the massive irony of all of this is killing me.

Re: Medal of Honor (2010 reboot)
I agree with reviewer in terms of MW2, so this game does look to have much better potential. I'm a big fan of the whole formations and tactics thing. On the third level of Battlefield I was thrilled when this seemed to be the case but turned out to peter out pretty quickly.
Then again, I think I'm done with FPS for a long time (after metro 2033, of course). And who knows, could modern war be the new WW2?

Re: Medal of Honor (2010 reboot)
It has been since 2007, and I'm already getting tired of it.
MOH needed a new start, but it sad to see a lasting gaming franchise I grew up with turn into another Call of Duty clone.
I don't know about shooters. After Reach, I might take a break from them, as I've been branching out into other things for the last year or so.

The advisor to this game is Dale Dye (He advised things like SPR, The Great Raid, BoB, etc.), the single player is closer to real-life then MW2 accroding to Game Informer as it tasks you with finding Al-Queida members and well yeah, AND the veterans from DICE are making it's multiplayer.
I am, in fact, looking forward to this and leaving MW2 behind for this.

You might have as well said "that's the correct spelling" while you were at it ;)

Since the Medal of Honor is an AMERICAN award the British Spelling is invalid.

Re: Medal of Honor (2010 reboot)
All I know is this game will have to do SOMETHING different then past FPS game's. IE Modern Warefare 2 and Bad Company 2. Sence those are the most popular and most played modern combat games out right now. Being simply Medal Of Honor and have Dice behind the multiplayer is not enough.
To me, that is.
To me, that is.

Hmm, not sure how i feel about this one. It looks cool but i cant imagine it being as refined as MW2 (takes cover from violent raging about MW2's flaws). None the less im sure ill play it. We can only wait and see unless they make a demo

Re: Medal of Honor (2010 reboot)
I think they've completely lost the plot of what made MOH good. James Patterson was a OSS agent, sneaking behind enemy lines to sabotage the Nazi's from behind. Sure he did get caught in mainline battles from time to time, such as the Normandy landings, but most of the time he was behind the scenes.
I will never forget the final of the original game, where you have to fight through a secret German testing facility where they have made a new type of V2 rocket that had almost double the range and they planned to use it to do major damage to the advancing allies. That final cinematic moment where you enter the command centre, just a few metres from the rocket itself and as you watch it soar into the sky you press the controls and watch it self destruct, and watch it come crashing back down to earth, with the classic MOH theme playing.
With later games they seemed to forget this, like European Assault (Which was trying way to hard to be like battlefield) and Airborne (COD with parachutes.)
Now this which is a MW clone.
The series desperately needed change that was obvious, but their playing it way to safe by just copying and pasting the biggest FPS of the day. Sure you could argue 'If it ain't broke, why fix it?' True, but it would hoped they would have gone back to the original games and remembered what made them great, and worked with that to update them to the modern era.
I really do hope it's good, but I really think it will be one of a diamond dozen of MW copies, which is a unfitting end to what was a good series.
You can't beat that.
Oh and for multiplayer, what other game allows you to have Winston Churchill fighting a Velociraptor?
