added this to my old list of reasons why:
-cool cop car
-funny taffic stops
-cops shows
-I AM THE LAW!
-gun
-uniform

cops have always had cool, top of the line cars...

this one looks awesome... but its cost may prevent most forces from getting large numbers of them

I thought that American police cars were usually rubbish so they could write them off without worry.

There was a top gear episode to that effect.

From my knowledge some US cities are using Aussie cars
