April....duh

I'm sure as most of you could have figured out this was my attempt at an April fools day joke. Because my computer has been broken for a few days I didn't plan on doing anything but I decieded to grab my iPod touch at the last minute and made a plan.

Just the thread wasn't enough to scare any of you into believing the site would rally go down so I turned the site into vacation mode and changed the message to read that the site was actually deleted.

Those that were here to see it were still in the chatbox when the site was down and in civbases words "freaked". Some so believing it they immediatley made a new site graciously named after yours truly to cope.

The site is not being deleted and as a matter of fact I just applied to have the domain name extended for another yeat today.

You had me going for a minute when you actually "deleted" the site.
Then I remembered you put down that you'd delete it tomorrow.

A part of me literally died when I saw that message.

I've spent much of the last few hours huddled int he fetal position muttering, "It's just a joke. It's just a joke. It was only a joke." And so on, to myself.

Hey, guys, this is completely unrelated, but I think I should bring up the fact that Pheonix has had the "Announcements" section misspelled for... ever since the site was founded, really.

It is, isn't it? I never noticed that.
